When we’re not tittle-tattling, we’re designing. Actually, to tell the truth, we tittle-tattle while we’re designing. It is not a quiet studio at Mitchell & Dent. This just in… three rather naughty letterpress goodies – birthday cards for people who aren’t sensitive about their age. Find them in our little online store.

Our friend Nicole is cute-as-a-button. We also think she is hiding a secret portal to another world where you get to have more hours in the day. Not only is she the whiz behind Craftapalooza - sellers of handcrafted goodness, she has a brilliant blog right here, you’ll find her at artisan markets like next week’s Unwrapped: Leederville, and she is a great mentor to market newbies like ourselves. In her spare time, she whips up tutorials like this for everybody.

One of Sheryl Derilo’s vintage-style pendants. You can buy one too from Sheryl’s little online shop. Find Made of Awesome at the Unwrapped: Leederville markets on Dec 19.

There is nothing more lovely than a dinner table adorned with fine china and now we can start displaying these delicate homewares on our walls too. Melbourne-based design house Lightly create new treasures from old crockery and vintage glassware. These butterflies are individually cut from upcycled saucers, making each piece different from the next. I know what I will be adding to my Christmas wish list.

Jane and Adam are some of our most favourite designery folk. They are the clever creatives behind Little Design Horse - making artworks, textiles, clothing and products for people all over the world and for their own collection Future Shelter. You can find their goodies, like these pretty little ply decos, at their shop or Sunday’s East Fremantle Festival between 1 and 7pm on George Street.
