Mesdames Mitchell & Dent are very fond of a fiesta, a shindig, a soirée – even a sundowner. And whilst we disapprove of being invited by text, we don’t think every bash warrants bespoke letterpress stationery. DIY can be most delightful, so here’s some we prepared earlier… lovely invitations in little packs of 8, envelopes all included. Perfect for children’s birthdays, high teas, dinner parties and baby showers. You can find them at the Studio Bomba Shop.

(And to the lovely gal who popped in to see us on Sunday and to who I promised a blog post, apologies for my tardiness!)

Hip hip hooray

October 6, 2010 / By Madame Mitchell / 6 comments

Unlike Madame Dent, I will not be celebrating a very special birthday tomorrow. But I will, however, partake in a slice of cake (or two). I only wish I could invite Miss Martha Stewart over with one of her Peppermint Fantasy or Jelly Bean Jewel Box Cakes. While I know the recipes are provided and I could very well attempt to make one myself, there would be no chance of having enough candy left to decorate with. I hope the pictures are enough for you Madame Dent?

Two more sleeps

May 4, 2010 / By Madame Dent / Make a comment

Ball and Skittle opens in two days. It is very exciting. The mesdames have had the great fortune of designing for good friend, supermum and energiser bunny Clara Jane and look forward to toasting the arrival of her brand new store for children. Ball and Skittle will sell thoughtful wares of whimsy for curious lads and lassies – sourcing children’s toy, gift and home wares that are good for imaginations, good for growing bodies, good for the environment and good for the future happiness of the world.

Opening Thursday May 6th, with three days of play – oodles of activites for kids including fire engine rides, face painting, balloons, sweet treats and prizes with funds raised going to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Help Ball and Skittle raise a Starlight Wish for a seriously ill child. Details of the Our Wish for Starlight Event can be found here.

One for the boys

Don’t say Mitchell & Dent doesn’t think of you boys. If you want to express just how much your significant other means to you, go no further than this little card. I love you more than football and cars, that’s a whole lotta love.

This just in

GoodnessGraciousMe

When we’re not tittle-tattling, we’re designing. Actually, to tell the truth, we tittle-tattle while we’re designing. It is not a quiet studio at Mitchell & Dent. This just in… three rather naughty letterpress goodies – birthday cards for people who aren’t sensitive about their age. Find them in our little online store.
