Bountiful

March 1, 2011 / By The Mesdames / 3 comments

Should you have heard high-pitched girlie squeals of delight this afternoon, the kind that curls toes and causes puppies to cower in fear, then we’ll take the blame. But we have a damn good excuse. We discovered Her Handpicked Harvest online. AND they are from Perth. They are the go-to folks for fine vintage collectibles and curios, all available for hire for celebrations such as I-do’s and I-don’t-want-to-turn-[insert age here]‘s.

Constance

It is very cold this morning and I cannot quite feel my toes. Forgive me for wishing I was enjoying some sunshine and warmth, swanning about Europe in a vintage caravan just like Constance.

Amy Atlas

Oh, Amy Atlas, you are too sweet. Sadly you are in New York, USA and we are in Perth, Western Australia and we cannot be together, but thanks to the internet you will always be our online eye candy.

Jollydays Luxury Camping

MesdamesĀ Mitchell and Dent are on summer holidays. No, they’ve not gone into the woods today and stumbled upon the big surprise that is Jollydays in North Yorkshire, but really really wish they had. Mmmm, bunting.

Paper loveliness

Kristina Maree's Paper Loveliness

Isn’t it always the simplest ideas that are the loveliest? We spotted these paper garlands by Kristina Marie and for a nanosecond thought, we could do that. But really, who’s going to source vintage papers, painstakingly punch them out and stitch for hours? Not when you can go to Kristina’s online shop. And while you’re there, check out herĀ Two-Hundred Two hand-sewn silk mobile, the result of 300 hours of work. Incredible. We definitely couldn’t do that!
