Mesdames Mitchell & Dent are very fond of a fiesta, a shindig, a soirée – even a sundowner. And whilst we disapprove of being invited by text, we don’t think every bash warrants bespoke letterpress stationery. DIY can be most delightful, so here’s some we prepared earlier… lovely invitations in little packs of 8, envelopes all included. Perfect for children’s birthdays, high teas, dinner parties and baby showers. You can find them at the Studio Bomba Shop.
(And to the lovely gal who popped in to see us on Sunday and to who I promised a blog post, apologies for my tardiness!)

Do you know that feeling when you have soooo much to do, but your head is in the clouds and nothing is getting done very fast. Uh-huh. That would be me. I might just stare at this dreamy little paperscape by Gosh & Golly until inspiration comes.

Channel your inner eighties child – think ra-ra skirts and rollerskates, blue light discos and mix tapes (on cassette of course), pastels and prettiness. This brand new Mitchell & Dent print by Mademoiselle Michelle might help too.

What is going on? I thought winter was planning on packing up and going home soon but instead, what we’re getting is lovely for ducks. We’d quite like it if the weather would kindly progress to something more along the lines of the bottom row of this brand new Whether the Weather print by Mademoiselle Michelle (now available online from Mitchell & Dent). Let the sun shine in.

Oh lordy, where to start?! Be prepared for lots of tittle tattle about Melbourne in the days to come as Mitchell & Dent recently popped across the Nullarbor to say howdy-do at Magnolia Square and introduce our bits and bobs to folks in the East.
Where to start? How about the morning we arrived after a damn red eye flight (did I say damn already, damnedy damn)? We have AIX’s blood orange and burnt sugar crepes and Chris from Corky Saint Clair to thank for kick-starting our jaunt in the jolliest of ways. Chris is nice. He told us lots of ace places to visit and I bought the bestest Sarah McNeil brooch from his shop in the subway between Degraves and Flinders Station. Of course, we then checked in early and promptly fell asleep. So sad.

Mrs Gust, Mr Flurry, Ms Drizzle, Dr Rainbow and Miss Sunny. This Whether the Weather small print series by Mademoiselle Michelle is so sweet it might give you cavities. Titchy tiny limited edition artworks for little nooks and light pockets – available individually or with a sweet little discount if you buy all five. Either way, I want to know which university Rainbow got his doctorate at?
