Our chums Dan and Bec fromĀ Studio Lost & Found found this brilliant little series of dioramas with hand-lettered type by Aled Lewis in London. We love them, especially this one, and not least because Mr Lewis seems to share a similar sense of humour to us (go here and be sure to look at the back). Dumb bunnies. But as Aled says, what rabbits lack in smarts, they make up for in cute.

Madame Mitchell works very hard, she is diligent in her daily duties. So much so that she often needs to be shooed from the studio at very late hours. She is definitely not a clock-watcher, but perhaps one set permanently to 5pm might help her get home on time, thankyou Misako Mimoko in Barcelona.
Madame Dent thinks it would be a good idea too – suddenly any hour of the day becomes cocktail hour.

A lovely time

I have English house guests which means I spent last week Down South. If you’ve not been before, it is a vey good place. Beaches, forests, wine, food, sun and of course, gnomes. Yes, gnomes. They hang out together near a roundabout on a quiet road in the Ferguson Valley. Hundreds of them. And I love every last little handpainted sign and cringe-worthy gnome-inflicted idiom (gnome sweet gnome, gnome away from gnome, gone gnoming, Harvey Gnoman). Oh, and this post is for the lovely Angie because I think she just might like it.

Next time I go to the Royal Botanical Gardens, I won’t just send you a postcard, I’ll send you some garden. It’s like reality TV for the postcard industry. Up there for thinking, green thumb stationersĀ Postcarden.

Here’s one for our dear friend Dan and anyone else with a soft spot for swine. The Lovi Pig is the brainchild of Finnish designer Anne Paso and is part of a series of adorable pop out postcards the receiver assembles themselves. We love them all but this little piggy has to be our favourite.
