Go get your diaries out. Sharpen your pencil. Mark down Sunday September 25 between 2 and 4pm. You now have a previous engagement of the awesome-est kind. Art, ink, prints by lowbrow artists from near and far (including our own Madame Dent) all in honour of the itty bitty little printing machine invented in 1977 in Japan – the GOCCO. You can even see one in action with a live demo during Outskirts (thanks to Ruck Rover and Outré Gallery).

According to the Johnny Two Tone Club, today is the International Day of Sputnik and we ought to be orbiting around a vodka-based beverage of our choosing in celebration. OK, so a little bit of a departure in subject matter for us, but as two aunties-in-waiting (not long now), Mitchell & Dent can’t help but occasionally dip our toes into baby-world. Especially when we were so fortunate to meet the very delightful Natasha and Daniel Dumais at Life InStyle, Melbourne-based designers of Ubabub.
