What is going on? I thought winter was planning on packing up and going home soon but instead, what we’re getting is lovely for ducks. We’d quite like it if the weather would kindly progress to something more along the lines of the bottom row of this brand new Whether the Weather print by Mademoiselle Michelle (now available online from Mitchell & Dent). Let the sun shine in.

My mother used to say “Close your mouth, you don’t want the whole world to see what you had for breakfast”. She also taught me that it is terribly rude to open an umbrella indoors. Well, London Undercover, I’d hate to think what she’d have to say to you.

Mrs Gust, Mr Flurry, Ms Drizzle, Dr Rainbow and Miss Sunny. This Whether the Weather small print series by Mademoiselle Michelle is so sweet it might give you cavities. Titchy tiny limited edition artworks for little nooks and light pockets – available individually or with a sweet little discount if you buy all five. Either way, I want to know which university Rainbow got his doctorate at?

We’re feeling a little dented and soggy after the wild wild weather yesterday but are happy to see the sun starting to peep out from behind the rain clouds. Hope the rest of you Perthonalities are ok. Here’s a little extra sunshine in the form of cute artworks to help brighten your day.

The weather man promised us a little rain here in Perth, Western Australia and we’ve not seen hide nor hair of it yet (2mm in Mt Lawley? bah humbug!). Thanks Ingo Maurer for this art installation, thanks Jesús Manuel Nieto Bobadilla for your free-use image, thanks Brook Hall for your edited version, kindly made available for downloading and printing and framing and gazing at… the trickle-down effect in action. If the internet can do it, why can’t you little rain clouds?
